Our D-8399-SET CRM has been designed to offer your lab convenience and reliability when testing for these dangerous chemicals.
ASTM subcommittee D37 on Cannabis has recently published a new test method for the analysis of 85 pesticides in cannabis dried raw materials. AccuStandard is excited to announce the launch of our new D-8399-SET which includes all the target pesticides listed in the D8399 method in a convenient set offering the best stability and selectivity for your lab’s analytical needs.
Testing for residual pesticides in cannabis is critical to ensure the safety of these products for human consumption for both medicinal and recreational purposes. Just like other crops, pesticides are used during the cannabis cultivation process to control various insects and diseases. Residue of these pesticides may still exist and even become concentrated after the extraction process. Exposure to some of these pesticides can result in major health risks such as nervous system damage, kidney problems, infertility, or cancer.
