At AccuStandard, we are continually adding new products for the latest methods in analytical chemistry, while consistently providing support to our customers and community. This year has been no exception!

New PFAS CRMs for ASTM methods

AccuStandard continues to expand its offering of PFAS CRMs with new additions that include multiple component CRMs for ASTM D7979 (PFAS in Soil) and ASTM D7968 (PFAS in Water, Sludge, Influent, Effluent and Wastewater).

New Carbamates in Water CRM

Toxicological data shows exposure to N-methyl carbamate pesticides can cause serious health effects. Our multiple component Carbamate CRMs are formulated to include all the target compounds in ASTM D7645 (Determination of Carbamates in Water) for both the native compounds as well as the Isotopic surrogate compounds.

New Brominated Flame Retardant

Brominated Biphenyls were commonly used as a flame retardants in different products and consumer goods such as electrical appliances, plastic and textiles. Although many of these chemicals have been banned, environmental testing continues due to its persistence in nature. B-206N-5MG is one of the latest novel compounds synthesized by our chemists.

In October, we updated our ampule labels for an easier application for transfer vials. Watch our short video to see how easy it is!

Halloween is always a big event at AccuStandard. Employees dress up in costumes and participate in games and contests. AccuStandard donates $10 for each person wearing a costume and $5 for each person participating in the games. This year's donations totaled $555 distributed to the Hispanic Federation - Puerto Rico Disaster Relief, Volunteer Florida - Florida Disaster Fund, and Save the Children.

Distributor Visit

We are always excited for visits from our distributors! In October, we were very fortunate to host members from Bosung Scientific Co. Ltd., our distributor for South Korea.

They enjoyed touring our facility, attending training sessions, and visiting some local attractions.

Claudia & James Barber Legacy Fund for New Haven Youth

Our August BBQ raised $710 for the Claudia & James Barber Legacy Fund for New Haven Youth. This fund was set up in Barber's name by his former athletes to benefit youth in the greater New Haven area.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Our September BBQ raised $714 for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Funds were donated in memory of an employee's family member.

Our new California Cannabis Residual Solvent CRMs are designed to improve your analysis by including the target compounds and to eliminate possible matrix interferences.
