New FDA and EPA PFAS Standards for Food and Water
March 22nd, 2023
AccuStandard is excited to introduce new high quality CRMs for the analysis of PFAS in Drinking Water and Food. New products include multiple component mixes M-533 and PFAS-FDA which are designed for PFAS testing in accordance with USEPA 533 and USFDA C-010.02. We have also expanded our single component PFAS standards with new CRMs for Fluorotelomer alcohols (FTOHs) and Short-chain PFAS.
USEPA Method 533
PFAS in Drinking Water
Testing for PFAS in Drinking Water is critical to minimize exposure from these chemicals. USEPA has released different test methods for the analysis of PFAS in water including Method 533. Our M-533 Mix is one of the new additions to our PFAS CRMs which includes 25 native PFAS required by this test method.
FDA Method C-010.02
PFAS in Processed Food
Due to major health risks associated with exposure to PFAS, USFDA has developed test method C-010.02 for PFAS Testing in Processed Food. This method is intended to test for PFAS in different food matrices such as infant formula, bread and pancake syrup. Our PFAS-FDA CRM is formulated to include all native PFAS compounds listed in the method to offer efficiency and confidence when testing for these chemicals.
